For centuries, the quiet shores of Tuja changed owners: first the Livonian tribes, and then the German aristocrats. Today the village is considered a popular holiday destination. Tourists rent summer houses, check in hotels or campings. Infrastructure is limited to a couple of restaurants and a bar on the beach. Tuja Beach is the main attraction of the village, where everyone will find a secluded corner among the sand dunes in the shade of the lush Baltic Forest.
