The coast near the village of Preila on the Curonian Spit amazes with its spaciousness. The sand dunes in this place are pierced by a carpet of wrinkled rose hips, in the green thickets of which bright pink buds can be seen. There are no amenities on the shore, but there are bicycle parking station, a parking lot, and a family cafe at the disposal of tourists. Preila and the surrounding area are ideal for cycling, boat trips on the bay and trekking along the forested dunes.
