Liseleje is a resort village on the Gulf of Hesseloe. The history of the village began with a fishing settlement of the 18th century, then fishing gave way to tourism in the 1930s. Guesthouses, summer cottages and authentic fishing huts from that era still adorn the village today. Today Liseleje is chosen for its clean and safe coastline. In summer, the beach hosts picnics, sunbathing, fishing boats and walking in the natural park.
