Kuressaare is the central city of one of the largest Baltic islands, Saaremaa. The settlement is famous for its Gothic fortified castle, troll sculptures, a golf course, spa centers and a miniature harbor where yachts and boats dock. The coast of Kuressaare is shallow, so the city beach is suitable for families with children. Changing cabins, toilets and playgrounds are installed on the shore, lifeguards are on duty, there are cafes, restaurants and shops.
