Despite the tiny size of the town, Büsum has long been a popular seaside resort. Sandy beaches open to the North Sea are equipped with lifeguards, rental of sun loungers, sportsgrounds and playgrounds. Mass tourism does not prevent Büsum from preserving distinctive traditions, and the age-old festivals dedicated to cabbage, crab and fishing do not lose popularity among guests and locals.
