In the shade of Latrabjarg, the highest cliff in Iceland, the village of Breidavik is located. A couple of hostels, a camping, and a church - that's the whole settlement on the shores of the vast Atlantic Ocean. Brave tourists travel thousands of kilometers to stroll along the long Breidavik beach at the far edge of the land of ice. The wild coastline resembles a sandy desert and echoes the silent northern landscapes. In summer, loons, puffs and guillemots nest in the surrounding rocks.
